I composed it using Square waves. I projected square waves into different materials (a frying pan, a wire, etc.) using a transducer, and picked up the sounds with a recorder. By remixing, I enhanced and de-contextualized the resulting artifacts, also adding a square wave based bass synthesizer that mimics the recorded patterns.
